About the Instructor
Jean Brister Young holds a B.M. in Music Education with a major in Organ and a minor in Brass
from Boston University and has credits from the New England Conservatory of Music and Univ. of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
She has been been teaching piano-classical and pop and music theory privately and in groups for more than 30 yrs. In addition to her teaching she has been a church organist and has used music as therapy in Assisted Living facilities and private settings.
She is committed to teaching beginning adults, school teachers, and retirees who, for some reason, never got around to discovering their hidden talents. Learn how to make music and love it. There is always a second chance. Please give yourself another opportunity to learn the fundamentals of music in a fun and relaxed enviornment.
